Irazu volcano
We left San Jose for a ten day road trip around Costa Rica. The first stop along the way was the Irazu volcano. It is both the largest and the highest active volcano in the country.
The peak was covered in clouds for most of the day, but occasionally it cleared and gave us a great view of the surrounding moon landscape.
